Conference 2013

International conference “Tourism infrastructure as way to enrich the offer of rural areas” 
was held on 5th April 2013 in the Conference Center of Kielce Trade Fairs, ul. Zakładowa 1  

The conference was devoted to the major topics regarding rural tourism, problems related with that sector as well as trends, market fluctuations and economic-social factors which influence the development of rural tourism and agrotourism.
This year special emphasis was put on the accompanying infrastructure enhancing the offer of rural areas. The topic of the conference was coherent with the preparatory process for the new UE programming period in which the main emphasis will be put on the use of territorial potential through the integrated interventions targeted at particular areas. Due to diversification of regions and countries in realizing this approach, particularly in tourism policy and rural areas development, creation of new quality of tourism with common features of integrity and area complementarity was discussed. Participants had an opportunity to exchange experience gained during the present programming period related to development of rural tourism, mainly in terms of complex offer, networking of tourism products, clustering and other means of cooperation for tourism, including management of such ventures.
